Happy Thanksgiving

We wish you a happy Thanksgiving Day.

I took my own advice. We had pan seared halibut for dinner. Talk about good! Oh, yum, and then some!

There's a ladybug traversing the length of my keyboard. I wonder if I can talk JC into releasing her into the great outdoors? What if it's one of those spotted cucumber beetles? I'm too full to search for a magnifier. *sigh* Enjoy the rest of your day.

    1. Thanks. I'm glad it wasn't too gross for you. LOL. I hope your holiday lived up to your expectations. Ours was very good. Who says you have to have turkey? I'll bet it wasn't a turkey. :) Everyone I know had fowl and/or ham. I almost bought a duck.

Did you do all the cooking?

      You too. And be well.

    3. JC made the pie crust! It's a first. :) He chose his own recipe from online, for a flakey butter crust, I left the kitchen and left him to it. And BAM! There was crust for the sweet potato pie. :)

  2. Turkeys were safe at our house, too. Cornish hens and lamb chops went over well. Love the card--but maybe I should join the turkey in Witless Protection. :)

    1. Now you made me smile. :) I almost bought Cornish hens for JC but the halibut was so fine I couldn't resist. Yum to lamb chops! We had them AND salmon last Christmas.

Glad you liked the card. LOL. You'd join the Witless Protection? :D I'd have to draw you first. That might make you change your mind for sure.

Peace! Have a great weekend. May you coast on into Christmas!
