I couldn't march but I was at every march in spirit. Oh, my goodness, the women! And some say we can't get along or come together. Oh yes we can! And we are. We are sisters! We are united. We stand. We woke!
Activism is alive and well. It took a common threat to humanity to spark this new revolution. We are the torch bearers. We must pass on the flame woman-to-woman until we light up the world! First we must light our own torch--do it for ourselves. We are nurturers; we will tend the flame until it is strong, and pass it on to our daughters, our sisters, our nieces, cousins, friends, co-workers, neighbors . . . and it will not go out.
It does not matter who struck the match. Let us keep the fire burning. Light you candle, your taper, your torch here: WOMENSMARCH.COM. Lift it high. Let the light shine on your face! Embrace the power of womanhood!
There are 10 actions for 10 days. We've written letters for 365 days in a row, so we can do this. We know that our pens are mightier than any sword. We know the power of the written word! So let us unite and write on!
Being women, we make it easy. You don't have to buy or make your postcards. They are there for the printing! Oh, my stars! Simply download, print, make your statement aka fill-in-the-blank space, address it, stamp it, and set it free. Don't forget to keep one for yourself--proof to future generations that you helped make a difference. My souvenir copy will have place of pride in my journal. *grin*
So won't you join us?
