Saturday Evening's Post

I made twelve postcards for twelve randomly chosen pen friends. This is one more tribute to Teams USA in Rio. Being too afraid to leave off watching the Games in case I might miss something, my lap desk gets a workout like I'm in training for the Mail Olympics. Homemade postcards are the way to go for short bursts of communication, like those track athletes who excel at the dash. Why twelve? They come twelve to a pack.

All for Teams USA!

  3. those are so awesome and I must say my fog has lifted over the loss of a co worker and am back on track and I'm sure he is in heaven dancing cause he made it . I hope you are enjoying the Olympics and they don't bum you out . I'm glad most of them went but I can understand why some did not go . well you also take care of yourself.

    1. I'm glad your fog has lifted.

I cannot imagine anything about the Olympics bumming me out. When Americans don't win I chalk it up to the best athlete winning. If Americans aren't in an event I root for the best athlete. :) They're simply the best. Better than all the rest! :D

    1. Thank you! They're perfect for making mail art when you're glued to the television. All those stars and stripes in the Olympics audiences make for inspiration without thinking about it. I hope that made sense. :D

    1. Thank you! I walked past the washi, determined not to buy more. Of course I circled back minutes later the second the flag postcard idea hit my brain. :)
