Envelopes are fun, don't you think? Lately, mine seem to be more fun than the letters I owe. My imagination is still stuck in overdrive so am staying on board for the ride.
Why no color? I've learned my lesson, that's why. I've messed up a couple-three detailed drawings lately, and am too lazy for a do-over. I have also learned, and remember, that not all envelope paper is created equal. The common everyday varieties soak up markers like sand that's found a much-sought-after oasis. They bleed like someone cut their collective throats too. Pencil is cool but doesn't show well on my scanner, so, what can I do?
Oh, my. Just looking at the fly dude reminded me of "Jack Reacher's" Thrift Store bomber jacket. So cool. Well, leather jack. I'd erase the wool-looking one above and replace it, but erasing ruins the tooth and makes the markers hemorrhage. Confession: I'm not good at re-drawing. When I try, the picture changes--not always for better either, but once in a blue moon it improves. Ahem. I like the mascot. I think it's Duly's cousin, Public Notice!
Well, it's time to fly! *flap* *flap* *soar*
An aside: The envelope holds three bags of roasted barley tea. Are you barley-tea-in-the-summer fan too? Or do you prefer barley water?
A P.S. Dang!: Should have made it air mail, huh?
