A Journey of a Thousand Miles

I finally opened the package. I sounded a little like Gollum afterward as I stroked the lovely stock that holds such promise. "Prettyyy, not "Preciousss" mind you. The idea that "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single stamp" stuck in my mind and  looped around, and around, and around, until I got out of bed and took up the tools of my trade. The tabs have an idea that's all their own, but that's for later.

The cards seemed ideal canvas to use to illustrate my belief that "A journey of a thousand 1,000 miles begins with a single stamp." The original was a one cent stamp, but it stood out; so I dug, and dug, until I found what I was digging for. May I tell you how much fun I had with this? Okay, thanks, 'cause I had so much fun I forgot the time. Ideas always hound me when it's time to make dinner or around midnight. I wish everything was organized and filed properly. I spend way too much time searching for stuff. Pushing this out reminded me of giving birth. It all happened naturally, with a little laboring on my part, but the moment I deemed it done? Well, presto, bingo, wham! I was in love.

Mail did go out today. Mail came in, too. My P.O.B. and our home mail box bore glad tidings. So, I floated on four wheels over to Archiver's. It ended up being an Archiver's Afternoon. I got $10 off my purchases! Yes! And I love not having to clip coupons. I pull out my iPhone and BAM! The coupons are there.

I bought this. 12 x 12. Why? Well, I like cameras, and I have friends who probably got cameras for Christmas, and I have freinds who already have cameras, so maybe I'll do camera postcards. Indeed.

She had faith in herself. I know any number of women this applies to. The 12 x 12 sheet is covered with my kind of positive stickers. Yes, I have stacks of gleaned goodies, but this is the first time I've bought . . . Never mind. No justification needed, right?

It's easy to see why I got this.

Affirmations! Embellishments! Pretty little things! Why do they remind me of Christmas?

Then there's the little lure placed on top of all the goodness I bought. Reasons to return. Have you shopped at Archiver's recently? Oh, I hope you have.

    1. Thank you, ma'am. Life is all good. :) It's nice to know you are in a good place with your own health, and I hope NC is to your liking. It sleets and snows there, too, but not like it does in your current location. Lewis is a fine actor. Am sure he deserved the nomination. I have not seen "Lincoln" yet, but it has been highly recommended.

LOL. An image of Lucy yanking away that football just flashed before my eyes. Be well my friend.
