Aha! Yes! This is It! & A Winner

There was a give-away.

There was a funky prize.

There was a winner. Oh, yeah!

There are "she-tells." They're much better than "details."

I've gone over this tote, inch by inch, and I still find new "oh-my-goodnesses" every time. The bits remind me of many mail artists I've come to know. Y'all are talented, artistic, funny, insightful, entertaining, and some of the you create and I fall for are even a little scary. LOL. That woman in the first shot is awful-fascinating. Just a little scary, yes? Maybe scary isn't the right word. Maybe I mean she is startling. She definitely makes me do a double take. So, I finally wrapped her up, slapped on a couple of address labels, tarted things up, and put her in the out box.

Are you ever curious about an artist whose work affects you? I mean, do you wonder how-why-who-or-how come? I finally checked out Colin Johnson. I've bought enough of his little bags to justify answers. Although our styles are different, I enjoy his creations. His work. His talents. Here's a link if you're interested:

And, the winner of the "Love & Happiness" give-away is Rusty. Congratulations, my friend-in-ink. I hope you like the tote as much as I do. There are any number of reasons why. Here are a few great ones:

Thanks for playing.

  1. Boy did I ever mess up. I'd written down that the deadline for your giveaway was Dec. 12 so have been working on Chridtmas cards first because I thought I had plenty of time. What was I thinking? LOL. Well, congrats to the winner.
Too embarrassed to admit my name today. :-)

    1. No-no-no-no-o-o-o! I am the one who messed up. Rusty was the first to send mail with an Earthscapes stamp. She also wrote Love & Happiness on it. LOL. Sorry, sorry, a thousand times sorry.

Why should you be embarrassed? I'm the one who flubbed. I'm laughing instead of trying to crawl under my bed. Can you check the time of the post? I wrote it at 1:14 AM. May I use the time as my defense? ;) No? Well, this isn't the first time I've made such a blunder, so here I go again . . . And thanks for pointing out yet another Limner Lapse.

    1. You are welcome, Rusty. LOL. Fascinating is the perfect description. It even has an inner pocket. None of mine do.

  4. That's funny! ;-) Thanks for letting me know I wrote the date down correctly after all. I quite often stay up way past my bedtime too & I am so not at my best then (more like addlepated)! So when I saw "winner" together with "love & happiness" I was sure I'd really messed up. :-)

    1. Well, if I can't laugh at myself . . . ;-) I recently learned that my sleeping pill is to blame for my forgetfulness. I would rather be addlepated than have to wrestle with insomnia. :D

I found the winning entry. Whew! I've botched give-ways before; the winning entry bears the Residential subdivision stamp.

Oh, look at the time! Am calling it quits before I mess up again. :) Goodnight, and good luck.
