Whosain Molt

There is no pretending this is a stellar drawing. I have done very little art work since my sister passed on, so am more than rusty; yet, this is good enough for me. Sheesh. Am distracted by the bulge. BRB. Gotta go fix it.
Okay. It is done. I am too lazy to scan another copy, so I hope you will take my word that the tweaked drawing is much better. Now. I did the sketch for my brother, who is the only person I know who doesn't the name of the fastest man on the planet. To help him out, I decided to send him the entire Olympics 2012 sport section from the NYT. I was saving it for any possible future grands that might come my way in the near future. No matter. Since I could not send him such marvels in a plain white envelope, I smarted it up just a little. I hope my efforts will earn at least a smile. My other hope is this little drawing will lead to better things. I have a heap of letters to answer. I look forward to the day I am able to write again. Until then . . .
Be well.

  1. *hugs*

You made me snort with the bulge ;)
The waether needs to be less tropical around here so I can make you something... :)

  2. LOL! My anatomy eye is rusty and the sketch is awful but I didn't have the heart or the energy to do it again. I think life is getting better. Creativity is always a good sign. It doesn't have to be great either. You've already "made" something for me, girl. You made me step outside my grief for a while. Thanks for making me laugh. And thanks for helping me feel something good again.

It is tropical here too. Fish are dying from 100 degree temps in lakes. Red tide is killing fish and the tides wash them on shore. The beach is just nasty. We're also plagued with West Nile virus. People are dying from it. Wow. I think I just wrote a letter. I feel empty and void of all interesting topics. I cannot for the life of me remember what I used to write about. :)

  3. Glad to make you laugh in your troubled times.

My weather seems nothing to what you had pfff I find anything above 27 degrees Celsius hard to live in and we have had a few days of above 30. Was glad I could be at work some of the days ;)
