The Girlfriend Bling Club

The Girlfriend Bling Club has its final member. She lives in Ohio. The first member lives in Virginia. The second GF is in Cali. Who are the GFB members? They are my youngest pen friends. All girls. Oh. And I'm the fourth. Someone has to pass on the tiara and pen some day, so it has to be an older GF, right? And that's where I come in.

I hope for at least one photo of the GFs wearing their Bling. And I hope they might exchange birthday cards, or photos of them having tea when they're decked out in their tea finery. They could grow up to become pen friends after they learn how to write. Until they do, maybe their moms will help them become acquainted. I know they'll like each other and get on well. I like them.

Four hearts represent the Four GFs. Moms? May I pair the GFs one-on-one, to get the ball moving with introductions? I won't share addresses or name without your permission, but wouldn't it be nice to exchange a hello? A photo of them and their bling could follow. Please? Three little girls could have so much fun drawing pictures and sharing things like their favorite books and stories. It's never too early to start them on the path to writing letters.

Maybe they'll be the youngest pen pals ever? GFBC Members' #3 & #4's bling goes out tomorrow. Oh, Happy Day!

    1. Oh, Millicent! Thanks. Am pleased to hear you like the idea. I've adopted 3 young girls as my Bling Girlfriends. How old is your daughter? They're all quite young. :) I need to pay more attention to what I write. Details, details, details.

Will pen a letter and send it tomorrow with details, okay? I have to rush out and buy more bling! LOL. The first little girl was inducted in December. I remember how special I felt when my mom read the lines my grands and aunts included in their letters, just for me. So naturally I thought . . . You've just made my evening. Letter to follow.

  2. My daughter will be 5 in June. She has one (lady) pen-pal, and she LOVES making mail art. She asks me everyday, "has the mail come yet Mommy?"..... She's hooked.

    1. Aw Millicent, how can I not say yes? LOL. Don't tell her yet; wait until her bling arrives. I just know they will get along.

Bling went out to numbers 3 & 4 this afternoon. The mail clerk was quite taken. Wanted to know all about it. She examined everything I mailed.

I'm working on certificates, but that will take a few weeks. I have a backlog of mail and art that needs catching up and drawing. Your daughter is so welcome.
