Laughter due to Misty.
Wolfey, did you draw all this? Pore over this, and be amazed. There's another piece. I'm saving it for later.
Uncanceled postage. LW, I never asked before, but did you draw the postman? I told Ashley, I've never known so many talented people outside an artist community before. Wish we could start a design company and make greeting cards and posters and stationery, and . . .
Beautiful postage, huh? The handsome dude brings to mind Genghis Khan. No, we never met, but it's how I see him in my mind's eye. Okay, maybe it could be his nephew. Those cheekbones are to cry for.
Patty, Patty, Patty! Where on Earth do you get these gems? You know someone in the Bible belt? Reminds me of West Texas. For real.
A another unique way of recycling, and creating a memorable envelope. An awesome stamp, yes? Bet it would make a grand poster. Thanks, Kimi. I save my bags from museums, too, but am selfish. I keep mine. The go in a journal with highlights of the day. You are very generous. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art uses quality bags. I would enjoy viewing Zodiac Project. Wonder what the bull looks like. Have you seen the Tim Burton exhibit? Misty, I wish you could see it. In LA. There's a "Share your Burtonesque Art" op. Are you a fan? Hey! I wonder if his Neon Pencils would help me draw like him?
If this isn't one of the cutest ideas ever, then I don't know what would be. Thank you, Misty! I spent an afternoon recently, looking for maps of Katy. No luck. Yet. I bet if Renee Zellweger or Clint Black wanted one the presses would be smoking. LOL!
Thank you! I am going to have one heck of a time capsule to bury. It might need its own county. Did you know Texas is the state with the most counties? Well, according to James Michener, it is. Mine will be called Limner County. Oh! Just wait until I show you a sketch of the exhibit. It will be a winding wall with one long diorama of every piece of Limner Mail I've ever gotten. Y'all will be famous! More famous than the man who has the house made of beer cans.
Just you wait and see!
P.S. I haven't done a mail run this week. I have a nasty sinus infection, thanks to the nasty smoke from all the fires. I used my neti pot a little too late, so I have to live with the chills, fever, sinus and ear pain until Monday. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and a safe September 11. Will you do anything special?
Be good to each other.
